Welcome to the future!

    Do you want to have an outstanding wedding but are on a budget? We have the perfect solution; D.I.Y. (Do it yourself) DJ systems. The size of your guest list can be a rather large factor when deciding on the D.I.Y. system, which is more economical. If you have a friend or family member who is knowledgeable and has a heart for music, they might be a wonderful candidate to choose your toons! In some party atmospheres, a family member or close friend to the family can increase the fun of the party because they know your guests and have a personal relationship with them that cannot be equaled.

Now let’s hear from one of our DJ’s;

    I DJ’d a full service wedding in my area in July 2018. The groom had 5 brothers, after about 4 hours of great dancing one of the brothers came to my DJ table and asked if he could request a few songs. I gave him access to my computer and BAM! the first song he played the whole family was on the floor wailing every word to this song. I did not know the song he played before that night but it was exactly the right one. Eventually all 5 brothers took turns at the controls and it was one of the best parties I have witnessed in my 22 years of working at Songbird DJ Service.

Planning;

It's also important to have playlist for your event on a laptop so the special songs can be dropped into a playlist in advance of the party. We like the client to pick up the rental system 2 days prior to the event to get their songs organized in advance to ensure they have the best party possible, and also get used to operating the system as well.  We pride ourselves in having great planning and preparations in whatever we do.

When I talk to a Bride about her ceremony most of the time she doesn’t know the pros & cons of having a professional D.J. provide the sound.

When a Bride envisions her ceremony she wants all her guest to be able to hear the officiant clearly and loudly, but some Brides want the crowd to be able to hear the Bride’s & Groom’s vows. The only way to accomplish this is to have a P.A. system with a microphone. There are several types of mics Songbird D.J. uses and we will get to that in a moment. First I would like to give you 4 reasons why you should use us to provide the Ceremony Service.

  1. If you are outdoors there are no walls to contain the sound and it goes to infinity. (the way I always explain this to a Bride is this: (if you are in your bathroom and have your cellphone playing your favorite song and you are jamming away and everything is plenty loud, just take your phone, go outside and set it down and walk 10’ away and you won’t be able to hear and understand the song at all)

  2. Guest Enjoyment: Your guest want to hear everything, They want to hear the message the officiant has for the couple, they want to hear answers to any questions the Bride/Groom has ask of them, and if the vows are to be heard they are engulfed in every word. If no P.A. is used and there is a small breeze that rustle the leaves, your guest will NOT be able to understand what is going on and

  3. All Bride’s envision walking down the aisle, hearing her Wedding March in her head, adrenalin flowing, seeing all her guest smiling at her and she is on Top-Of-The World! The truth is if you don’t have a P.A. with a speaker pointed towards her, none of the above can happen.

  4. We KNOW it will cut down on stress for the Bride and her Mom if they hire Songbird!!

Microphones

The officiant can have a lapel mic or if the Bride/Groom wants their vows to be heard we can supply a shotgun or choir mic to achieve this. If a lapel is used we need the officiant to come to us 15 minutes prior so we can put the mic on him and adjust and test it. If we use the shotgun/choir mic it is ready with no preparation
